At First Evangelical Lutheran all are welcome here – disciples and doubters, sinners and saints, wanderers and wonderers, young and young at heart, insiders and outsiders – all of God’s children are welcome in this community as we worship together, learn together, serve together, pray together and play together seeking to follow Jesus in our daily lives.

From May 26 through Sept. 1, there will be one service at 9 a.m. Sunday school and adult forum sessions will be on hiatus for the summer.
“This is in response to the feedback we received last fall and will give us an opportunity to get reacquainted with people who attend the regular 8:30 a.m. traditional and liturgical service or the 10:45 a.m. contemporary service with Praise Band,” said Pastor Kim Eifert Krogstad.
On May 26, following the one service there will be a family continental breakfast in the Parish Hall. Members and visitors are welcome to bring their favorite breakfast treat, Pastor Krogstad said.
On June 2, the single service will be led by the staff of Lutheran Retreats, Conferences and Camps, a preview of the Summer Bible Camp for children entering grades kindergarten through sixth grade that is planned for July 29-Aug. 2, hosted by First Lutheran.
Parents interested in registering their children for the summer camp may contact the church office. Cost of the week-long camp is $100.
The church will return to its regular schedule on Sept. 8., with Christian education for children and adults taking place at 9:45 a.m. between the early and late services.
