Christian Services

The following article is reprinted for everyone to know better what Christian Service all about. This area of the church’s ministry is in the capable hands of Kim Clay-Ramos.

"Most people do not still know what Christian Services does. We are here to help with meals when needed. When needed is for anyone who is sick or having health issues, a baby coming or has come and the family just needs a little help, or for a death. There are other times when a person just needs a meal, for one reason or another.

However, I am just one person, and I don't always have my ears open to the needs of our church family. So, if you or someone you know needs a meal, please call me and let me know so we can get that set up for them. Also, I have had many sign-ups for helping with meals, but I would love even more helpers.

If you would like to be on my list (the good list not the naughty list), then you can either call me at 909-844-8176, email me at kc.nthehouse@verizon.net."

first lutheran church, redlands, california, community services, community groups, thrivent financial for lutherans, dial a ride, christian services, people with arthritis can exercise (pace), co-dependents anonymous, compulsive eaters anonymous how, al-anon/alateen

“For over 50 years, Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people... alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.”

Al-Anon meets here on Tuesdays from 7:30PM–8:30PM in the Parish Hall. Alateen meets in our Chapel during the same period as the Al-Anon group.

For more information, please call (909) 824-1516.
