Our mission
First Lutheran Children's Center's mission is to act as an outreach of First Lutheran Church by providing a loving, safe Christian environment where your family will find community and your child will have the opportunity for social, intellectual, physical and emotional development.
Our program
First Lutheran Children Center's program and curriculum are created with the developmental age and abilities of your child in mind, blending a wide range of integrated activities designed to enhance intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development with Christian values.
Our small class size and dedicated staff will lend to your child's enjoyment as they participate in activities designed to help them develop a positive self-image and a loving attitude towards God, family and friends.
Our entire program is governed by what is in the best interest of the young child by providing quality care so they can meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Our curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to...
develop your child's ability to make choices and decisions about what to do and how to do it using their time and energy effectively.
develop self-discipline and help your child learn to complete tasks with originality and responsibility.
teach your child to work with other children and adults in group planning, cooperative efforts, and shared leadership.
develop reasoning skills in the areas of reading, writing, math, art, music, science, social studies, and physical education.
develop reasoning abilities in a wide range of situations.
develop creativity, initiative, a spirit of inquiry, a desire for knowledge, and an openness to the views and ideas of others.
develop your child's sense of love and concern for others through the example of Jesus' love for us
