Lu Cook

Mrs. Cook grew up in Denver, Colorado in a big family with lots of sisters and one brother. She attended college in Grand Rapids, MI, where she received a BA in education and met her husband, Ron. Her post-graduate work has all been in Early Childhood Education. Her husband, Ron, works at Redlands Christian School. She has three daughters, three sons-in-law, and one beautiful granddaughter.

Her professional experience is primarily with young children - teaching first grade, kindergarten, and preschool. She came to FLCC 15½ years ago when her family moved from St. Louis, MO to Redlands. She has enjoyed teaching four-year-olds at the school, was the first kindergarten teacher, and is now beginning her 13th year as director. She sees this job as a wonderful opportunity to positively impact the lives of young families. She hopes to make this a wonderful year for you, your child, and your child's teacher.
